Kia ora, SPA Girls. I’ve been thinking about this since your last episode. I’m a relative newbie who has only had short stories published, so far. I’ve spent the last few months making writing a priority during the day, when my kids are at school (I put aside a years wages and quit my job to write. Madman), and am a ways through the second draft of a novella in a series. To make a career out of this I know I need a few books out there, and now I’ve got that first one kinda almost done I feel I have a better idea of how to speed the process up, a little, so at this stage, my focus is mostly just on getting the damn words down. Therefore my word of 2020 is:
PROLIFERATE.
As in words on page; number of books; platforms I’m on; eyeballs on my work.
