Toni was a delight to have on the show, and she was a wealth of information on being a self publishing author… She talked about her journey and how she got started in self publishing, the mindset she’s had to have since quitting the day job and working full time as an author, and she even gave some tips for newbie authors just setting out in what is a constantly changing environment… Don’t miss this episode, it’s a good one!

I found your first author interview to be very interesting. I must say that I was surprised to find that you are in New Zealand, and even more surprised to find that Toni’s self-publishing experience mirrored my own in terms of time.
I write middle grade fiction that introduces readers to the endangered animals of Australia. I include a glossary at the end of the book, which provides details of the unusual flora and fauna mentioned within my fast paced adventures.
I have written and self-published two so far and I am working on my third. I have had a great deal of experience in self-publishing here in the US. I spent a number of years partnered with an agent here by helping other aspiring writers by offering editing and other services that self-publishers are not even aware that they need. .
